IL - Radstags Jason Robinson Swings Hot Bat, IL Winner: 19-year-old Jason Robinson sent shock waves through Institute League last week with an eye-popping performance that brought him the Institute League Player of the Week Award.
The Radstags' third-round pick, Robinson made the establishment sit up and take notice, punishing opposing pitchers with a .571 average, 8 hits in 14 at-bats, 1 home run and 4 runs batted in.
Where the Concord Radstags first baseman goes from here, only the baseball gods know for sure, but Robinson certainly made his mark last week.

ML - Driftwood Punishes ML Pitchers This Week: 27-year-old David Driftwood made a few Quincy headlines during this past week as the rookie right fielder proved he could compete at the plate with anyone in the Minutemen League. He captured the attention of fans, journalists and ML officials last week and today took home Player of the Week honors for his effort.
He cracked 6 hits in 13 at-bats to put up a .462 average. Driftwood collected 2 home runs, 8 RBIs and scored 6 runs.
