SHIZUOKA - March 31, 2022

The bunting was hung from the rafters as Kusanagi Stadium welcomed the Shizuoka Arrows and Hanshin Tigers for the Arrows' home opener.

Things looked grim for the home side, nursing a 5-0 deficit heading into the bottom of the 8th, until the Arrows' offense burst out with 6 unanswered runs before a single out was recorded, ultimately ending the inning with a 7-5 lead. Designated hitter Yuma Mune's bases-loaded single knotted the score, with Yuta Takano's walk afterwards the go-ahead run. Kyohei Nakamura pitched a scoreless ninth to seal the deal.

Incredibly, we're finishing March 3-3.
