How to shed salary
New player to FHM and loving it. Not very familiar with hockey. Just got myself into a spot of bother. Traded for a guy I didn't really need but he's good and you can never have too much talent. BUT this trade has taken me over the cap (NHL). I can't proceed without getting back below. I don't want to trade away a decent player but if I trade a couple of the minimum contract guys I'll only need to replace them on the roster and leave me back at square one. I only to lose $1.4m. Are there any clever ways out of this or am I going to have trade a guy on a $3/4/5m contract and take a low ball offer?
