We have two new openings as we begin the off-season for the upcoming 2038 season. We are still on version 20, but will be upgrading to 21 within the next 7-10 days, so if you don't have access to 21 or don't plan to upgrade with us, please don't apply.
The teams that are open:
Portland Panthers - Quite a bit of talent, they won 94 games last year and earned a playoff appearance.
Charlotte Knights - A long struggling franchise, they went just 72-90 last year and will have the 4th or 5th pick in this years amateur draft. They do have some good young talent though and some nice prospects, and would be a fun team to mold into your own.
Our first free agency sim is tonight, but we only sim 7 days, so nobody important should sign during tonight's sim. The quicker you join and get set up, the quicker you can improve your team!
Ideally, the new GM would have access to both OOTP20 and OOTP21, as that would allow you to participate in the off-season immediately, but if you ONLY have OOTP21, that's fine too. We will upgrade very soon.
We sim every day but Saturdays during the season, and every day including Saturdays in the off-season. I can't remember the last time we missed a sim, it's been years.
CBL is a consistent, long-running league that could really use two more dedicated GMs. We also are more than willing to help people learn the game, so don't be scared off if you think you're too new. All we ask is that you plan to stick around for awhile. Link to the home page and contact information are in the first post as well, but anyone interested can also just post a reply here too.
