This image drew quite a buzz on our custom baseball card page today. A nicely colorized photo of John Olerud, Senior, who caught mostly in the Angels system from 1965-71. Knowing how teams bring up catchers by the busload at the onset of spring training and assume college vet catcher Olerud was a likely callup in or around 1967-68.
