Just got into the FHM online league game after doing 15+ years of leagues with OOTP and 7+ years of leagues in NBA.

Have to say it's a tough go of it for the reasons you mentioned above. It literally takes forever to get through a sim because of all the injuries and changes you have to make on the fly just to get one day to pass. In my MLB and NBA, I advance the calendar to the day I want and click sim and I'm done...

Also, I've always enjoyed OOTP and other game's ability to take the online league outside of the game's interface with game html reports or csv files that include things you can take outside of the game for an online league.

I've been able to work around most things that are lacking - like box scores, stars, salaries, development, etc. - but can imagine this is part of the reason the game has difficulty taking off in the online league realm.

I was shocked to see the sheer lack of posts for online leagues when compared to the OOTP side especially considering how nice the game looks, but after a while I can kind of see why people shy away from it.

We're still having a good time of it after the first couple weeks of our league - but it's a ton of work to make it as enjoyable as my other leagues.

Just my 2 cents..
