I've never used the feature, though I have always been curious about it. I wonder how many people do use the feature for better management of players?
CBeisbol said to me once when I inquired about "fatigue %". I'm paraphrasing here, "My players don't get paid to sit on the bench". Now, of course, you need to bench players when they're way in the red, so they don't get hurt, but I got what he was saying.
In general, I like the idea of having more team-wide settings for basic things. For instance, The first time around for my 5 Starting Pitchers in Spring Training is a 60 pitch limit. The second time around is 75 pitches and it stays that way until their last starts of Spring Training. I like being able to go into Team Strategy and enter one number and have it be applied to all of my Starters. But, I really wish there would be checkboxes so that way we could select All Pitchers, Starters Only, Relievers Only - and then punch in whatever you want numerically. The way it is now, I have to go into the Relief Pitchers' individual Game Strategy and manually enter a number for each pitcher one by one.
And every season, I always forget to remove the pitch count limit on one or two pitchers until the 3rd week or 4th week. That's my own fault, but if I only had one place to change/remove the pitch limits, it wouldn't happen, certainly not every single season.
