Inside the Park Home Runs

Could we assume that the less home runs hit in a league means more of those home runs are inside the parkers and also the inverse (that more home runs means more out of the park home runs)?

As it stands, when I make a league in 1900 that will produce 6776 home runs (modern equivalent), then the game engine makes way too many of them inside the park (as it is a % tied to year). It kills the immersion for me.

Another thought: It would be nice to have button to swap home and away jerseys/ballcaps
