SJL:
As you can see, the SJL is quite competitive overall, especially when you look at run differential totals, with at least 5 teams being legitimately in contention for the pennant. As always, of course, the road to glory goes through Columbus and until someone can prove otherwise they are the class of the league. But it looks like they might really get pushed by several contenders this season.
MGL:
Same as it ever was. The Brooklyn Aces continue to under-perform, even while hanging in there in contention. The Brewers are at the top but being pushed mightily by the L.A. Spinners. The Phoenix Speed Devils are abysmal. While both Baltimore and Oklahoma City look like they could still make a late season push into contention. (Can San Francisco, with their extreme pitcher's park, continue to out-perform their pythagorean wins expectation, or are they in for a drop down into the second division soon?)
