GM Notebook - July 1, 2028
I hate interleague. We went 9-14 in June and now sit 5th in the PL at 40-40. Injuries to our pitchers have strained my depth, and I had to go out and buy another starter from the independent leagues after Matthew Thompson disappointed. We're still within 2.5 games of both Kirin and Orix, SoftBank is tied with us, and Nippon-Ham is half a game back. Gonna be a slog to the finish.
Yomiuri and DeNA tied for the interleague title this year at 15-9. Good for them.
