OS thinking about making a blockbuster trade with Sudbury to acquire the OHL's top goalie and Canada WJC starter, Brennan Cook.

Here is the package that Sudbury wants in return. It is a very hefty price.

Andrey Misin (G) - my current starting goalie and Russia's WJC starter
Jared Newbury (LD) - 17 years old and an OHL rookie, Newbury already has two silvers and a bronze for Canada at international tourneys. Has future stud written all over him.
2026 2nd
2027 3rd
2028 2nd

Cook would represent an upgrade in net. I would have to force trade the deal to make it go through. Sudbury is well out of the playoff race and in real life, would be looking to acquire several assets for their star goalie.

Misin and Newbury are two players they can build on and with 3 high picks they could turn into a real contender in 2-3 years. Pretty crazy that Misin has a career OHL record of 43-3-2 2.53 GAA, .888 sv% with 5 shutouts and is looking at possibly being replaced. He is having a subpar season despite being 21-3-1, sporting a 3.07 GAA, below average .873 sv% and a 58 game rating.

Real tough deal to pull off for a half year of Cook but I think it's a fair trade for both teams.......what do you guys think? Should we force trade this and see what happens?
