Former Brewer great Ryan Rodgers became the 11th player in WPK history to collect 2,000 or more career hits when he went 2 for 4 in his team's loss to the Los Angeles Spinners yesterday.
The Brooklyn Aces right fielder is on pace for possibly his best season since his 7.5 WAR 1974 campaign with Denver. At age 38 he is unlikely to get to 3,000 hits in his career but given how well he continues to play 2,500 might not be completely out of reach.
