26 September 2296 - Shaw HS Trades Hitman to Yao Guai for Three
In an effort to add some depth to its roster, the Shaw HS Knuckle Punchers have swapped 28-year-old 3B Jon Hitman to the Fairline Hill Estates Yao Guai for 30-year-old RHP Tom Mannequin, 23-year-old reserve 3B Mike Oldtimer and 30-year-old reserve RHP Odysseus Blades. The Knuckle Punchers new GM Kyle Wolf told reporters, "We saw a chance to upgrade our ball club and took it."
Hitman started all 60 games for the Knuckle Punchers in 2296, hitting .342 with three home runs and 35 RBI. He was a 12th round pick in the inaugural draft.
Mannequin appeared in 13 games for Fairline Hill Estates, allowing 10 earned runs in 21 innings pitched for a 4.29 ERA. He was drafted in the 11th round by the Yao Guai.
Oldtimer and Blades did not play in 2296. Oldtimer was undrafted, but Blades was drafted in the 20th round.
