Arrows updates, quick and on target!

* The Arrows went 16-8 in Interleague play, tying the Hawks and Arrows for the top record! It's the first time in franchise history Shizuoka has won or shared an interleague title.
* Overall, a 16-10 June keeps Shizuoka 5.5 games ahead of SoftBank, and adds two games to their lead over Orix in 3rd. Can you smell the playoff push?
* RHP Yoshinobu Yamamoto is nearing the end of his rehab, and will join the top club before games resume. Just in time, as we heard RHP Daichi Ishii may be injured again...
* Speaking of injuries, C Yasutoki Kato is gone until August. It'll be up to Fujiwara and new backup Asakichi Shimoda to make up the ground
* We saw DH Kikuo Kawamoto play first base a lot during interleague...is he going to stay there? What's gonna happen to 1B Hirotaka Hayashi if so?

41-year-old Hayato Sakamoto is going to get one more chance to win a title, and he'll be doing it with the team that denied him that ring last season. The Hiroshima Toyo Carp sent the legendary shortstop to the Shizuoka Arrows in exchange for SS Takeshi Saito (70% retained) and minor-league RHP Patrick Wiegel.
