BEST FRANCHISE IN IPA HISTORY?
Who is the best franchise in Islandian Pro Alliance history?
If you use the criterion of who has won the most IPA Pro Cups, it would be the Rolling Hills Reds/Racers... Rolling Hills has copped the Pro Cup trophy 5 times... the Turon Typhoons, Valmara Vipers and North Hills Hawks would be right behind with 4 overall IPA titles.
If you used the criterion of which team has made the postseason playoffs the most, it would be be Valmara... the Vipers have appeared 25 times in the playoffs... Turon is number two with 21 appearances, followed by the Middlefield Roosters on 20 occasions... Tuckanarra 19 times... and Sugar Valley 18 times.
And if you use the criterion of which club has the best overall winning percentage in Islandian Pro Alliance history, it would be Turon at .552 in the top spot... second place would go to Tuckanarra .545... in the third spot would be Sugar Valley .536... fourth would be Valmara .534... and in fifth place Rolling Hills .533.
Combining all of the above criteria into one, the best overall franchise in IPA history would arguably go to the Turon Typhoons with the Valmara Vipers a close second... the Rolling Hills Reds/Racers in third place... followed by the Tuckanarra Blue Jays/Tiger Cats in the fourth spot.
