Question Pitcher stamina in OOTP 21

I recently upgraded from OOTP 18 to 21. While I buy the new version every year, I'd stayed with playing OOTP 18 for years because I have absolutely no interest in Perfect Team and I prefer the look and layout of 18 to the look of more recent versions. I finally bit the bullet and upgraded because I wanted to try out the 3 batter minimum rule, which I actually am liking so far.

I've noticed something a little odd with pitcher stamina since I upgraded, and I'm not sure if this is normal behavior in OOTP 21. I've always operated with pitcher stamina set as normal in league settings, and I confirmed that the setting transferred over when upgrading my league through OOTP 19 and 20 to 21. Now in OOTP 21, it seems like pitchers with higher stamina (16+) are throwing considerably higher numbers of pitches than they did before tiring in the previous version. 16-18 stamina starters seem to not tire until they get past 130 pitches. I even have a starter with 20 stamina who doesn't get tired until he throws 150+ pitches, and he's not a knuckleballer which would be the only case I'd seen this sort of thing in the past.

I tried changing the league setting for pitcher stamina to low, but that knocked everything down to the point that a fully rested starter with 16 Stamina was getting tired after his pitch count got to the 80s (no rain delays or anything like that), so that's too far in the other direction.

I've been playing OOTP since 2007 and this is the first time I've seen this sort of thing happen. Is this normal behavior in OOTP 21? If not, is there another setting I should be looking at besides pitcher stamina in League Settings?
