That is not the case if you set the "Historical Year" to a modern year and then use the Auto-Calc. It will pull in all of the modern Strategy, AI and Stats modifiers but you still get a bunch of inside the park home runs when playing out games. They would probably need to add a modifier in the same place where they have things like Balks and Outfield Assists.
