Yeah, it's been a bit of a challenging season for Green. Though to be fair to him, his BABIP is far higher than his career numbers (.327 to .282), he has a FIP of 3.46 and a FIP- of 76, the second highest WAR on the staff (behind ace Sadahige Kawasaki) at 4.8, his 6.9 K/9 is slightly higher than his career average (6.6), his 2.0 BB/9 slightly lower (2.2) and his HR/9 is right at his career average of 0.8. And interestingly he has a ground out percentage of .59, the best of his career.
So really he's been pretty unlucky and mostly he's been better than his traditional stats have indicated.
