ONLY TWO IPA RACES STILL IN DOUBT
Heading into the September, the final month of the regular season, six divisions in the Islandian Pro Alliance appear to be well in hand and pretty much decided... only two of the them are hanging in doubt with about 22 games remaining on the schedule... the Ruthlandian West will go down to the wire with the Sligo Rovers trying to stave off three clubs, Colfax, Fort Benton and Middlefield... the Hartsdale Hellcats are clinging to a lead over Oxford, Blue Lake, Luxora and White River in the Tycobbian North race... those are the cliffhangers.
The other six division leaders are probably headed for the Pro Cup playoffs...the LaGrange Gators are fairly safe and secure with an 9 and a half-game edge over the Ranford Bulls in the Ruthlandian North... the current IPA Pro Cup champion, the Claxton Diamonds, appear to have a solid lead in the Ruthlandian South over second place Waleska, who trails by 8 and a half games... and the Wynnamac Sundowners look like the winner in the Ruthlandian East race... the Macs are 8 games up on runner-up Sugar Valley... in the other three Tycobbian divisions, Tuckanarra, Rolling Hills and Southport are well on the way to the pennant and the postseason playoffs... the Tucks are in front of South Fork by 9 and a half games and look like early cinchers... the Racers have a 7-game margin over the Kenwood Wildcats in the Tycobbian West... and the Sun Sox are ahead by 8 in the Tycobbian South Division.
