Here's the character profile as it now stands for the Missouri Show-Mes' current hitting coach, Jason Bishop. Hopefully it's not too long here, but if it is, then so be it. With no further ado, then, let's start getting to know more about him, as best as we can and all.

Jason Bishop was born on November 13, 1904 in New York City, New York to Robin and the former Lerda Welespia Hauber as their third son and fifth child. His parents were a college professor and a journalist at the time of his birth in the Manhattan borough of New York City, for Columbia University and The New York Times, respectively. He grew up primarily in a family of scholars, writers, artists, and musicians. But he wasn't exactly the best student, for instance, because he was more interested in other things or other people, such as baseball, than in studying, books, art, or music, among other things, in his life. He liked spending time with young women. But for various reasons, he couldn't find one of them to hold his serious interest enough for more than a few months at most, on average, until he was in college at the University of Oklahoma around 1925 or so. He went through many relationships with girls and women like many went through new cars, for instance.

Once he met the Yunibaasaru Kataribe-born Saivio Soutyand and a number of her close friends, however, he soon began to understand what true love really was, and not what he'd thought it was for many years. Ultimately, he never married Saivio, but ended up with her several years-younger second cousin Cailana Lanttosh instead, by the time he was thirty. He and Cailana are now happily married since 1935 with three children already born and four more already on the way, but they don't yet know she's already carrying quadruplets since late January 1947.

He spent about ten or so years playing baseball for a few amateur teams after college while also working as a manual laborer on assorted construction projects for various people or companies. It was while doing so that he met his future boss Freddy Ruiz for the first time.

Years later, not long after the end of the war, Ruiz was looking for a hitting coach the Show-Mes could hire, and certain people already in the organization recommended Bishop for that position. A few interviews later, and an acceptable offer later, Jason became the Missouri Show-Mes' first official hitting coach in their franchise history. He hopes to eventually turn the organization's batters into well-hitting ones in the near future, if at all possible, of course.

He now lives with his family near California, Missouri during the regular season, and near Joplin and Neosho during the offseason. Much of his free time is spent hunting, fishing, and working on cars and planes, for instance, whenever not working or spending time with friends, family or various associates of his in his life. He often keeps to himself a good deal, whenever he can.

Picture(s) and certain other information about or related to him and/or those close enough to him in his life will be shared later as possible and all, I'm sure. The next profile to be shared here will most likely be the Scouting Director Jose Luna's profile, at some point. Please wait for it, folks. Team uniforms are likely to be included in the next post as well. Thank you for your time and all. That's all for now, I think, then. CD out.
