30 April 2297 - BL: Party Boys Need Extra Innings to Top Bloodbugs, 7-4
The Nordhagen Beach Party Boys defeated the County Crossing Bloodbugs, 7-4, at Beantown Brewery Stadium today. Leading the charge for Nordhagen Beach was first baseman Dustin Mart. He was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Nordhagen Beach reliever Chet Arthur picked up the win, raising his record to 1-3. William Whitehurst was tagged with the loss. The Party Boys, now 3-8, have not found much traction so far in 2297.
Nordhagen Beach used the clutch hitting of Mike Swift to capture the win. The catcher drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to give the Party Boys the lead, 5-4. For the game, Swift had 2 singles and 1 double in 5 at-bats.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Mart.

Sean Samuels delivered an RBI-double in the top ot the tenth to complete the come-from-behind victory for the Assaultrons over the defending champs. Jarrett Metalbox had an MVP performance, going 2 for 4 with a double, a home run, a run, and four RBI.
Salem 0 at Finch Farm 12
The Four Leafs are looking like BL favorites again, shutting out the Witch Hats. Steve Rocky could not complete the game, but pitched shut out ball in 8.1 innings, allowing only six hits, walking one, and striking out eight. Matt Basile was 3 for 5 with a double, a home run, a run, and four RBI. The Four Leafs had eight extra-base hits in the game.
30 April 2296 - IL: Silver Shroud Win at Lexington, 9-0
The Lexington Synths and Fort Hagen Silver Shroud were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The timely hitting of Safety Langer helped the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud down the Lexington Synths, 9-0. Langer went 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Silver Shroud. All Day Acosta got the win, improving to 2-1. He worked 7 innings, giving up no runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 3.
With Fort Hagen leading 6-0 in the top of the eighth, Langer came up to bat against Lexington pitcher Chris "Glass" House. Langer hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Silver Shroud on top, 9-0.
"It was a tough night at the plate," said Lexington manager Sprole Races.
The loss puts Lexington at 7-4.

Virtual unknown Chris Bridge led the Stags to a blowout victory of the down-and-out Adamantium. Bridge was 2 for 3 with two doubles, a walk, two runs, and two RBI. In the game, the Stags finished with ten extra-base hits. Gwinnett Southie improved to 2-2, allowing two earned runs on 11 hits in 7.1 innings.
Starlight 4 at Sunshine Tidings 7
The Chemists flied high with their offense in pulling within one game of the Lady Killers. Frank Corsica went 3 for 4 with a double, a home run, two runs, and two RBI. Josh Noob was 3 for 3 with a home run, two runs, and an RBI.
30 April 2297 - ML: Radwater Twirls 6-0 Shutout
William Radwater scattered 5 hits over 9 innings, going the distance in the 6-0 University Point Deathclaws victory over the Quincy Gunners at The Stone House. The 29-year-old Radwater whiffed 4 and allowed 1 walk in the game.
"Not perfect today, but I'll definitely take it," Radwater said later. "I made a couple mistakes but thankfully they didn't get all of them and the guys behind me cleaned things up."

Bruce Iddings threw the complete-game victory to move to 2-2. He allowed three earned runs on six hits with a walk and six strikeouts. Good Don Duck was 4 for 6 with two doubles, two runs, and an RBI.
Jamaica Plain 2 at Warwick 8
Justin Sphinx improved to 2-2, allowing two earned runs on nine hits with a walk and seven strikeouts in 6.2 innings. Shawn Robco was 2 for 5 with a double, a home run, a run, and three RBI.
30 April 2296 - RL: Van Benschoten Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dwellers
The Vault 81 Dwellers took Oberland pitcher Gerald Jerry's best shot and still were able to claim a win at CURIE Inc. Field. The final score had Vault 81 getting past the T-51s, 4-3. Jerry went 9 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 5. Vault 81 reliever Uncle Abe Feddersen was the winner. His record is now 1-0. Justin Sumbich took the loss. Vault 81 goes to 4-7.
The Dwellers procured the win, in large part because of left fielder Chris Van Benschoten. In the bottom of the 12th, he produced the game-winning run-scoring single.
"Winning never gets dull," said Van Benschoten.

Nick Poppa did not earn the victory, but he pitched well in the Scrappers win. In 8.0 innings, he allowed three earned runs on eight hits with three walks and six strikeouts. Paladin Danse hit a solo home run in the 10th to lead his team to the victory.
Shaw 9 at Fairline Hill Estates 8
The Knuckle Punchers scored five runs in the top of the 7th to propel themselves to victory. Damani Beebe was 2 for 5 with a double, a home run, two runs, and five RBI.
