Thanks, I appreciate that Jackyle, yes he lead a full life. Around Thanksgiving in 2018 he started going downhill & started staying in bed all day for all of December & then he passed away by mid January.
So he didn't suffer long in that state where his body began to fail him.

My Dad passed in his sleep, the best way to go I guess. He had a quad bypass 5 years ago, and had been on Dialysis for about 3 years. Never complained, ever. He was tired the 2 weeks prior, I had a bad feeling so we talked daily which I am thankful for. I miss him very much. Not a boxing guy. He loved Baseball and Football. Sounds like we wee both very lucky.
