15 May 2297 - BL: Bloodbugs Prevail, 6-4, Over The Slog 
The County Crossing Bloodbugs topped The Slog Ghouls, 6-4, in Brotherhood League action at Beantown Brewery Stadium. The standout performance belonged to County Crossing pitcher and Worcester, Massachusetts, native Zach DiGrande. The Bloodbugs have an impressive 11-7 record.
Making an impact for the home team was Tom Mastodon. In the bottom of the fourth, the 17-year old left fielder had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 3-1, Bloodbugs.
"Our guys are never satisfied," said County Crossing manager Biff Future.

Finch Farm 6 at Nordhagen Beach 3
The Finch Farm Four Leafs defeated the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys, 6-3, in Brotherhood League action at Slocum's Joe Seaside Stadium. Finch Farm pitcher Josh Dude had a standout performance. With the victory, the Four Leafs upped their record to 10-8.
Finch Farm used the bat of Danny Honeycutt to get the win. The left fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Four Leafs ahead, 6-3. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it did its damage.
Easy Town 13 at Salem 5
Led by Joe Ransom, the Easy Town Assaultrons downed the Salem Witch Hats, 13-5. Ransom hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 for the Assaultrons. The win puts Easy Town at 9-9 this season.
It could have been a different outcome for Easy Town, had it not been for Lou Churchman, the 33-year old third baseman . Churchman contributed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put Easy Town up, 6-0.
15 May 2297 - IL: Synths Win at Starlight, 6-5 
The Lexington Synths topped the Starlight Lady Killers, 6-5, in Institute League action at Valentine Detective Agency Field. The game was highlighted by the performance of Lexington pitcher Tristan Marble. Marble got the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 hit and walked 0 over 5.2 innings. Marble allowed no runs. The triumph puts Lexington at 11-7 for the season.
Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Swat Diamond? The Lexington first baseman had a bases-clearing double in the top of the third inning to put the Synths on top, 6-2. For the game, Diamond had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"My job is to go out and play as hard as I can for the Synths," said Diamond.

Abernathy 11 at Fort Hagen 7
Radio Short had an answer for everything the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud threw at him today at Hubris Comics Park. The Abernathy center fielder went 5-for-5 in the game to put his name in the record book and put the Adamantium on top, 11-7. 
Radio Short singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and walked in the 9th. 
So far this season Short has no home runs and a .372 batting average. 
Concord 8 at Sunshine Tidings 3
The Concord Radstags stopped the Sunshine Tidings Chemists, 8-3, at ArcJet Systems Stadium. The Radstags got a big game from Chase Bridge, who was 2-3 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. With the win, Concord has a record of 8-10. Sunshine Tidings falls to 10-8.
In the bottom of the seventh, Sunshine Tidings had the makings of a rally. The score was 5-2, Concord, with no one out and a runner on 1st. But on a 1-1 pitch, Chris Wickliffe flied out. 
15 May 2297 - ML: Cuttooth, Hancocks Beat Red Rockets, 20-9 
Burtie Cuttooth made an impact in the 20-9 Goodneighbor win over Jamaica Plain. Cuttooth, who is tied for 6th in the ML in stolen bases with 1, went 4 for 6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. With the win, the Hancocks have a record of 13-5.
With Goodneighbor leading 11-8 in the top of the fifth, Cuttooth hit a cutter from George Hickey for a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Hancocks ahead, 13-8.
"This game had a little bit of everything," said Cuttooth.

Atom 4 at Quincy 8
With left fielder Andrew Nuka leading the charge, the Quincy Gunners defeated the Atom Cats, 8-4, at The Stone House. Nuka, who leads the ML in RBI with 21, went 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The winner was Ray Human, who threw 118 pitches over 8 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 9 hits. With the win, Quincy pushed its record to 12-6.
Nuka had a key at-bat for Quincy early in the game. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and gave Quincy an early 3-0 lead.
Warwick 4 at University Point 2, 11 inn. 
The Warwick Mirelurks had to overcome a fine effort from University Point pitcher Adam Froggatt to grab a narrow 4-2 win at Gwinnett Brewery Park. Froggatt went 8 innings and allowed 2 runs. With the win, Warwick raised its record to 12-6.
The result might have been different, had it not been for Shawn Robco, the Warwick center fielder. Robco had a run-scoring double in the top of the 11th inning to put the Mirelurks ahead, 3-2. For the game, Robco had 1 double and 2 singles in 6 at-bats.
15 May 2297 - RL: Vault 81 Beats Shaw HS, 13-3 
The Vault 81 Dwellers topped the Shaw HS Knuckle Punchers by a score of 13-3. Leading the way was second baseman Bubb Islander. Islander was 3 for 6 with a triple and 2 singles. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for the Dwellers. Godfather Hough, the winner, goes to 2-3. He allowed 3 runs on 10 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts over 9 innings. The win makes Vault 81 8-10.
The game turned with one out in the top of the sixth when Islander, who finished 4th in the RL in batting average with .405 last year, hit a 2-run single. It propelled the Dwellers into the lead, 4-2.
"We swung the bats good throughout the lineup," said Vault 81 skipper Crow Monitor.

Diamond City 9 at Fairline Hill Estates 5
Diamond City took on Fairline Hill Estates in front of a lively crowd.
The Diamond City Swatters powered past the Fairline Hill Estates Yao Guai, 9-5, at BosCom Circle. Danny Suarez went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2, to lead the charge. Diamond City reliever Jake Jennings picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Papa Bush was saddled with the loss.
Jeffrey Curatolo, the slugging first baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Curatolo contributed a 2-run single in the top of the first inning to put Diamond City up, 2-0.
Egret 1 at Oberland 4
Oberland T-51s pitcher Gerald Jerry whisked his team past the Egret Scrappers, 4-1. Aaron Still got credit for the save for Oberland. It was his 4th of the year. Oberland raised its record to 14-4 with the win. Jerry allowed 1 run over 8 innings. He also racked up 10 strikeouts.
