SJL pennant race comes down to final Columbus-Jacksonville series!
And as it should be, the Shoeless Joe League sees the season come down to a final four-game head-to-head match-up between the league's two most storied franchises, the Columbus Whalers and the Jacksonville Wolf Pack. Columbus just needs to win one game at home to win the pennant but the Wolf Pack still have it within their power to spoil things for the Whalers. If they can sweep the Whalers they will finish 93-69 and even if Boston and Pittsburgh manage to win the rest of their games, the Wolf Pack will be going to the Kinsella Classic Series to face Denver.
But most likely we will be seeing a re-match of the 1976 Kinsella Classic Series, though the Brewers hope this time with different results.
