Crystal Lake has been on the rise for several seasons... 7th in '62... 5th in '63... and 3rd last year... the Skippers have a potent attack and can hit with anybody, but they lack pitching, especially starters... they hung in tightly with the Claxton Diamonds as late as July 1st, then struggled through August... Crystal Lake surged in September, but by then it was too late... the future is looking brighter for the Skippers.
