3 June 2297 - BL: Bloodbugs Absorb 8-4 Loss at Finch Family Park
County Crossing got a terrific performance from left fielder Tom Mastodon, but it wasn't enough to beat the Finch Farm Four Leafs. Finch Farm won the Finch Family Park contest, 8-4. Mastodon was 4 for 5 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs for the losing team. The win gives Finch Farm a season record of 13-12.
Alec Bullets hit a 2-run double off Bad Company Grognak in the bottom of the seventh, which put the Four Leafs in front, 5-4. In addition to the double, Bullets had 2 singles, while going 3 for 5.
"I'm just looking for a good pitch that I can hit well," said Bullets. "And not try to do too much."

Easy Town 4 at Nordhagen Beach 5
The Easy Town Assaultrons got a sterling performance from pitcher Angel Waterdrink, but the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys still prevailed, 5-4. Waterdrink threw 8 innings allowing 4 runs. Sia Abber, credited with the win, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits. After today's action, Nordhagen Beach sits at 11-14; Easy Town slips to 12-13.
Michael Fogcrawler was the walk-off hero for Nordhagen Beach. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Party Boys left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
The Slog 4 at Salem 5
The timely hitting of Mike Castillo helped the Salem Witch Hats down the The Slog Ghouls, 5-4. Castillo was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for the Witch Hats. The win puts Salem at 10-15.
With Salem leading 4-2 in the bottom of the fourth, Castillo hit a run-scoring single off The Slog hurler Edwin Mass. It was the 41st hit of the season for Castillo and put his team ahead, 5-2.
3 June 2297 - IL: Radsco Fires 5-0 Shutout for Concord
Chris Radsco of the Concord Radstags put the clamps on the opposition and held the Fort Hagen Silver Shroud scoreless in a 7-hit whitewash.
"He's got some good stuff, but we should have done better than that," said Fort Hagen skipper Mark Andersen after the 5-0 loss.
Radsco was on target most of the game and finished with 9 strikeouts and no walks.
So far this season Radsco has 3 wins and 3 losses and a 3.27 ERA.

Abernathy 7 at Starlight 9
The Starlight Lady Killers topped the Abernathy Adamantium by the score of 9-7, with the largest share of the credit going to third baseman Hubris McBride. McBride was 1 for 5 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Lady Killers. Larry Undertaker locked down his 11th save. With the victory, the Lady Killers upped their record to 18-7.
McBride had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh, when he hit a grand slam. The Lady Killers went on to win.
Sunshine Tidings 4 at Lexington 0
In a very sharp performance at Super Duper Mart Stadium, Tony Bertha of the Sunshine Tidings Chemists blanked the Lexington Synths, 4-0. He permitted 5 hits and finished with 6 strikeouts and 2 walks in the Chemists victory.
Season-to-date Bertha has rung up 4 wins and 5 losses in 9 appearances. He has an ERA of 2.95 and has fanned 47 batters in 64 innings.
3 June 2297 - ML: Mirelurks Bridle Gunners, 4-2
The Warwick Mirelurks got a stellar performance from pitcher John Diner, who handcuffed the Quincy offense en route to a win, 4-2, at The Homestead. With the win, Warwick upped its record to 15-10.
Warwick first baseman Random Lurkcakes contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fourth. With two down, he hit a fastball into left field for a run-scoring single. It was his 44th hit of the season and put the Mirelurks ahead, 3-1.
"We've got a great group of guys," Lurkcakes said, "and we're having fun right now."

Atom 4 at Jamaica Plain 3
The Atom Cats picked up a win at Red Rockets Stadium, knocking off the Jamaica Plain Red Rockets, 4-3. Starting pitcher Matt "Ace in the Hole" Hope was a big reason why. Hope went 8.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 2, and struck out 4. His record improves to 4-3. Getting the save was Freedom Williams, his 3rd.
It could have been a different outcome for Atom, had it not been for Jeremy Schoolboy, the top prospect . Schoolboy contributed a run-scoring ground out in the top of the sixth inning to put Atom up, 4-3.
Goodneighbor 6 at University Point 7, 10 inn.
The University Point Deathclaws beat the Goodneighbor Hancocks, 7-6, at Gwinnett Brewery Park. Aaron Nukacola, in particular, was impressive. He went 4 for 5 with a double and 3 singles. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was University Point reliever Mike Coombaya, now 1-0. The loser was Matt Rodrigue. The Deathclaws raised their record to 9-16.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when University Point second baseman Jason Harris, facing Matt Rodrigue, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Deathclaws the 7-6 win.
3 June 2297 - RL: Dwellers Score Late, Stun Yao Guai, 6-2
The home crowd had a good time watching the Fairline Hill Estates Yao Guai and Vault 81 Dwellers get after it.
The Vault 81 Dwellers got a strong performance from pitcher Curt Redcoats, who stymied the Fairline Hill Estates offense en route to a win, 6-2, at CURIE Inc. Field. In 8.2 innings, Redcoats surrendered 13 hits, while striking out 5 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs.
Vault 81 took a 4-2 lead on Steve Gunkill's 4th double of the season. The 2-run double, which Gunkill hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Fairline Hill Estates pitcher Bus Paula shaking his head.
"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Vault 81 manager Crow Monitor.
The win makes Vault 81 12-13.

Egret 11 at Shaw 10
Egret and Shaw HS engaged in a slugfest.
The Egret Scrappers weathered a fine game by Shaw HS right fielder Damani Beebe to upend the Knuckle Punchers, 11-10, at Atomatoys Stadium at Roxbury. Beebe was 4 for 5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times and driving in 5. The winner was Shawn Simms in relief. His record improves to 1-1. Tom Mannequin took the loss.
The game was at a stalemate until catcher Tony Tamez came to bat in the top of the ninth. Facing Shaw HS pitcher Tom Mannequin, he hit a 2-1 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Egret on top, 11-10.
"Crazy game," said Tamez after it ended.
Diamond City 3 at Oberland 4
The Oberland T-51s topped the Diamond City Swatters, 4-3, in Railroad League action at Graygarden Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Oberland pitcher Sheng Kawolski. The T-51s improved to a lofty 18-7.
In the bottom of the fourth, Oberland catcher Jim Pickman had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and two out, Pickman stroked a run-scoring single to right. It made the score 2-0, Oberland. For the game, he was 2 for 3 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
