4 June 2297 - CL: Trigger Clipped Because of Chameleon

Corvega Assembly Plant Flamers (ST) second baseman is lucky to be alive thanks to quick action by Mystic Pines security.

While enjoying post-game brews in his team's 5-4, 10-inning loss, Trigger and other players unknowingly were in the presence of a chameleon deathclaw. Because of the creature's ability to camouflage its skin to match the environment, the Flamers almost got snuffed out.

A security guard at Mystic Pines noticed a strange movement near the players and called out for them to clear out. As they started to evade the danger, the creature took a cinematic pause to roar out its anger and hunger. That is when the Mystic Pines security officers opened a can of firebombs right into the belly of the beast.

There was one injury in the chaos. Trigger got himself in the line of fire for a second, taking a bullet to the shoulder. The would is not considered to be life-threatening, but he will miss the rest of the series for treatment.
