1919-20 Season

The season was an unexpected surprise for the Montreal Canadiens who for the past few years had no luck within the league, many believe this turnaround is due to a star duo tandem in Zack Boutin and newcomer Patrick Morel.

Montreal also had three players reach the top five in points leading the league, will they be able to go all the way?

In addition, Ottawa forward Nate Beirnes set a new league record with 59 points in the regular season. This is most likely due to the addition of games to the regular season, will he be able to push his team to a Stanley Cup?

Alongside Beirnes is D.J. Holden, a young netminder for the Ottawa Senators, he has been playing well in the past season and this season he set a league record for Goals Against Average, averaging under 3.00 goals a game! A very impressive feat for the era he is playing in.
