Here's the profile for the Bayous' current chief Scouting Director, Dustin Trahan. It will be a bit longer than the average profile may be here, mind you, and an especially unexpected person will be present for him as his mother. So please bear with me a little, and you'll see what I mean in due time. With no further ado, then, let's start getting to know Dustin Trahan at least a little bit, everyone, as best as we can. Uniforms for the New Orleans Bayous baseball team will also be shown at the bottom of this post, I think, just so you know.
Dustin Trahan was born on June 10, 1888 in Knoxville, Tennesse to Abraham and the former Metilia Bambalio, a native of 1st Century AD Rome abandoned just because she was female in the city streets of Rome, as their first son and third child. Someone found her, and raised her up until she was about nine years old. That was when she unexpectedly entered a certain room while at a friend's house, playing hide and seek with them, and touched some things accidentally there.
The next thing she knew, she was somewhere else, and in a strange time to her, the 19th Century AD. Found soon after by a family visiting Rome from the United States, on an archeological expedition, and with no way of knowing who she was and all, that family soon adopted her and raised her until she was an adult. Some time later, once born, Dustin was raised in a loving home by his astronomer father and cook mother, taught Latin, Greek, English, and Hebrew from a very young age, with smatterings of other languages mixed in here and there every so often.
While his 81-year-old mother has spent most of her life in the 20th Century, for sure, and is rather intelligent in certain ways, there is still much she has been unable to comprehend of modern times, modern technology, or modern ways of thinking for many people. That's due to her not actually being born in this time period, of course. But Dustin, his siblings, and his father still deeply love, or loved, her, just the same, as she is and was.
Dustin was a great athlete and scholar growing up, mostly in Missouri. And for many years, until age, injuries, and certain family responsibilities ultimately forced him off the baseball diamond, football field, basketball court, and ice hockey rink as a regularly-active player in the applicable sports. Although he is still able to periodically play tennis and golf at least occasionally in his life, to be sure. His oldest three of nine children seem to be rather interested in sports, and his oldest child is a very good basketball player now for the Detroit Pistons, but has not yet won any NBA championships in his fifteen-year playing career including the not-yet-ended current season. His two oldest daughters are already former professional tennis players, but they only had mostly moderate success as tennis players in their careers before ultimately retiring and starting families of their own, in due time.
Dustin met his future wife Victoria Howard while at college in Arkansas. Within a year, even though they were both still in college at the University of Arkansas, they were married. Years later, by the time they were both 38, they had nine children, including two sets of twins. Grant was born first in 1910, then Adarissa and Kytria in 1913, Morris in 1917, Norbana in 1921, Joseph and Benjamin in 1923, Elijah in 1925, and Esther in 1926, each followed him later on. They are not expecting any more children to come their way. Or at least not any biological ones, anyway. Only Elijah and Esther still live with them when their colleges are not in session, however. For their first five children are all now married with families of their own, and Joseph and Benjamin are both engaged to two young women themselves.
Dustin spends a lot of his spare time writing novels in multiple genres and multiple languages. Even while involved with many other people in the sports world, for instance, all year long, for multiple reasons, he can often produce a full-length novel and have it off to the appropriate publishers in no more than eight weeks on average. Even when he's working on at least two different stories at the same time in his free time, in truth. To date, since finishing college, he's had 175 full-length novels published, under five pen names and his real name. Another 25, at least, are expected to be published within the next two or three years, at most, if enough goes sufficiently according to plan for him and many others by then.
Dustin first met Joe Waldrip not long after Esther's birth, at a baseball game. A friendship eventually developed between them both, but it still took quite a while before that friendship became a close one for them both, just the same. When Joe was looking for the Bayous' first head Scouting Director, he remembered Dustin after seeing Grant play basketball with the Pistons and unexpectedly encountering Grant later. Grant and Joe Waldrip briefly talked, and Grant recommended Dustin for the aforementioned open position for the Bayous. Weeks later, Joe hired Dustin for it, after interviewing several candidates for it.
Dustin, Victoria, Elijah, and Esther now primarily live just north of Lake Charles during the offseasons, and about halfway between New Orleans and Thibodaux during the season. They have rather full lives, and while only Dustin's mother still lives, of their children's grandparents, they still love her, and enjoy her company, a great deal.
Picture(s) and certain other information will be shared later as possible and all, I'm sure. The next profile that's most likely due to be posted here will be the one for Jonathan Gutierrez, the Bayous' head trainer for the entire franchise, I think. It may take a bit of time to come up with it, but I'll still try to post it here as soon as I can. Caps are also likely to be shared in the next post here, as well.
As for the Bayous' current team uniforms, they'll be at the bottom of this post, for sure. Thank you all for your time and attention, and hopefully I'll be able to move on to the Texas Border Patrol's entire organization very soon, of course, Lord willing and all. CD out.
