July.2.2021 - Before The Look of the Draft:
Obviously seeing Alex Ovenchkin in the Free Agents sweepstakes, The The Seattle Kraken had to take a try for his services and to our luck (Assuming the steep amount he wanted and years for it) He decided his new journey was to be the first ever signed player to the Seattle Kraken!
The terms were agreed on a 1 Year, 10.3M Contract. The expectations of a short term contract was expected, but even for a player like Ovenchkin 10.3M may hurt us going into the Expansion Draft, so we will have to keep an eye on expenses going into this one. In the end, Ovenchkin has proven he still has alot to offer and will be a good offensive threat and leader for the coming of players from the draft!
