24 June 2297 - Yellowhair goes 3-for-4, Ghouls Move to 22-12
The Slog right fielder Boots Yellowhair had a 5-RBI performance, which helped his team down the Finch Farm Four Leafs, 6-4. The win for the Ghouls lifted their record to 22-12.
Yellowhair had a game-changing double in the bottom of the seventh. On a 3-1 cutter from Matt Pageturner, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Ghouls a 6-4 lead. It was the 16th double of the year for Yellowhair.
"We'll relax tonight and get back after it tomorrow," Yellowhair said after the game.

Salem 1 at Nordhagen Beach 7
Getting a good performance from left fielder Michael Fogcrawler, the Nordhagen Beach Party Boys defeated the Salem Witch Hats, 7-1. Fogcrawler hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Party Boys. The winning pitcher was Julian Shed. His record is now 6-2. The left-hander went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits for the Party Boys. Nordhagen Beach, at 15-19, sits in 5th place in the Brotherhood League.
Nordhagen Beach right fielder Tomas Jones contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the third. With two down, he hit a cutter into right-center field for a 2-run double. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Party Boys ahead, 5-1.
County Crossing 6 at Easy Town 4
The County Crossing Bloodbugs beat the Easy Town Assaultrons, 6-4. County Crossing pitcher and Cochituate, Massachusetts, native Bad Company Grognak led the way. Grognak went 8 innings to notch the win. He scattered 9 hits, walked 1, and struck out 5. His record improves to 6-3. With the win, County Crossing raised its record to 17-17.
Josh Noggin contributed a productive at-bat in the top of the first. With a runner on 1st, he reached on an error by the center fielder. It was one at-bat that helped County Crossing get the win.
24 June 2297 - IL: Radstags Fall, 9-6, to Tostado, Synths
Good production from right fielder Crooked Tostado helped the Lexington Synths topple the Concord Radstags, 9-6. Tostado was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 times for the Synths. Pete Pembroke earned the win for Lexington. He lasted 8.1 innings, allowing 5 runs on 8 hits, while striking out 5. With the win, he raised his record to 6-5. The victory gives Lexington a record of 19-15.
Justin Browneye aided the Lexington cause with a run-scoring walk in the top of the fourth. For the game, the catcher drew 1 walk in 4 plate appearances.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Browneye.

Fort Hagen 4 at Starlight 1
Panic in the streets at the drive-in, and it's not the Fish Men's Revenge. Fort Hagen starter Brent Hooker pitched well against the Starlight Lady Killers at Valentine Detective Agency Field. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-1. The first-place Lady Killers have dropped 4 straight games in the season's second half.
Hooker allowed 1 run on 4 hits over 9 innings for the Silver Shroud. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
Sunshine Tidings 0 at Abernathy 6
In a seemingly effortless performance, Jason Woods of the Abernathy Adamantium shot down the Sunshine Tidings Chemists 6-0 on a 4-hit shutout.
"Jason was just locating so well and using his pitches," Abernathy manager Chase Stingwing said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Woods recorded 3 strikeouts and no walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Sunshine Tidings manager Cozy Burmaster said in his postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
To date this year Woods has compiled a 4-5 mark with a 5.29 ERA in 12 starts.
24 June 2297 - ML: Gunners Win at Goodneighbor, 8-6
The Goodneighbor Hancocks got a superb performance from second baseman Jumper Hayes, but the Quincy Gunners still won the game, 8-6. Hayes went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 2. The winning streak has now reached 4 games for Quincy.
Matt Ranger had a key at-bat with one out in the top of the third for Quincy. With the bases loaded and the Gunners leading 4-3, he hit a sacrifice fly.
"The vibe's good," said Quincy manager Kevin Banner. "We've got to keep it going."

Warwick 4 at Atom 12
The Atom Cats topped the Warwick Mirelurks, 12-4, in Minutemen League action at Coolest Field in Town. The game was highlighted by the performance of Atom catcher Garrett Machine. Matt "Ace in the Hole" Hope, credited with the win, is now 6-4. He allowed 4 runs on 15 hits in 9 innings. The Cats raised their record to 12-22.
With Atom leading 2-0 in the bottom of the first, Machine hit a curveball from John Diner for a 2-run double. It was his 9th double of the season and put the Cats ahead, 4-0.
Jamaica Plain 5 at University Point 6
The University Point Deathclaws downed the Jamaica Plain Red Rockets, 6-5, at Gwinnett Brewery Park. Jukebox Luttrell led the way, going 4-for-4 for University Point. The winner was Cricket McGuire in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Chris Teddybear took the loss. Marc Pondsip earned the save, his 8th.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Luttrell delivered big-time for University Point, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Chris Teddybear. The game-changing hit put the Deathclaws on top, 6-5.
24 June 2297 - RL: Fairline Hill Estates Gets 6-1 Win
Fairline Hill Estates pitcher Bow Rome did his part in helping his team beat the Egret Scrappers, 6-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Fairline Hill Estates is now 15-19.
Rome came through for the Yao Guai in the top of the second inning. With Fairline Hill Estates leading 1-0, the pitcher hit a sacrifice fly. It made the score 2-0, Fairline Hill Estates.
"I had everything working," said Rome.

Vault 81 3 at Diamond City 3
The Vault 81 Dwellers picked up a win at The Great Green Jewel, courtesy of Curt Redcoats. The right-hander helped his team stop the Diamond City Swatters, 3-1. Redcoats picked up the win for Vault 81, going 8 innings. He gave up 1 run on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 5-6. Radscorpion Johnson collected his 10th save.
It could have been a different outcome for Vault 81, had it not been for Knud Bather, the 19-year old shortstop . Bather contributed a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put Vault 81 up, 3-1.
Oberland 6 at Shaw 8
Shaw HS, soon to be Roxbury, catcher Josh Freeman was a significant contributor in his team's 8-6 triumph over the Oberland T-51s. He was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for Shaw HS. The 4th-place Knuckle Punchers improved to 15-19.
Shaw HS won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With two outs and Aaron Still on the mound for Oberland, first baseman Matt Ratican hit a dramatic 2-run home run, bringing Knuckle Punchers fans to their feet.
