I'm not usually one to go after RFAs, but center JP Dubois was available, a 4.5 star player... perfect complement to JVR... so I made him an almost $8 million a year offer, assuming that if the offer goes through, I'll trade away Trouba. Columbus immediately matched the offer, so no go there.
Up to my goal of 40 contracts, so I'm only looking to pick up a big time player at this point. I'll go through the rest of free agency watching to see if some big name goes on waivers or hits free agency. Probably no more deals will get done, though.
We did get the above shown trade offer... Kevin Hayes for a 2.0/4.5 20 year old center. Man, what an easy to make trade there. The only problem, he's not American. So sad that I can't accept that
