This is an awesome, stable, active league that has many long-term, top-notch GMs. New GMs often become long-term GMs over time. We have accumulated 45+ years of history, thrills, and chills.
Many seasons ago, I joined the PBL as a relative newbie to OOTP. The PBL was my first OOTP online league. GMs made me feel welcome, shared suggestions, and in general helped me learn how to effectively manage an organization. If one has questions, a fellow GM will very quickly respond to posts to Slack and the forum. We will help new GMs become familiar with the league and their teams.
The Commish does an outstanding job of leading our team of 32 GMs. Schedules are published in advance. The timing of league events is available with enough notice to enable each GM to plan for them. No surprises.
The PBL integrates in-game league events with StatsPlus, the use of which has greatly improved the GM experience. Communication combines Slack with a forum.
