Luis Ramirez would probably get a lot more attention if he hadn't pitched his entire career up to this point in the shadow of Pitcher of the Year award winners like Jake Harris and Jim Norris. But the big durable lefty with the elite fastball and excellent splitter is bound to get his due eventually and at age 26 has many great years still ahead of him.

Among the reasons the Oklahoma City Diamond Kings have become contenders in the MGL, the performance of their outspoken but talented (and durable) right-handed starter Dan Knauff is certainly near the top of the list. Oddly enough, Knauff slots in at #3 in their deep rotation. With their talented and mostly young rotation (and the great Ben Bakeman anchoring their bullpen) if the Diamond Kings could just get a bit more offensive firepower they might have a very good chance of landing atop the MGL in the next few seasons.
