I guess this analysis just goes to show that while 60 games may not seem like that many compared to a traditional season, it's plenty long for different story arcs to emerge. Just looking at Starlight, for example, they had an amazing first half, but now aren't doing so hot in the second half. If the season was shorter things would have been over too quickly and the season would have had obvious winners, but if it was longer there wouldn't be as much drama surrounding them having one last chance to hold onto what they had built.
