Time to introduce you to Steve Harrison, the Texas Border Patrol's chief Scouting Director. I will also include the team's uniforms at the bottom of this post. Hopefully this personnel profile for him isn't too long here, of course, folks, but if it is, so be it. With no further ado, then, here is his personnel profile as it now stands, as of February 3, 1947.

Steve Harrison was born on October 1, 1886 in Pinellas Park, Florida to Samuel and the former Erika Wooten as their only child after twenty-some years of trying. He grew up the son of two scientists primarily in and around Pinellas Park, Florida's local area, before losing his parents in an unexpected 1905 boating accident, not long after being graduated from high school. They left him enough to cover his likely college expenses, and some other bequests, at least, but not a rather considerable amount of financial or property-related wealth, for various reasons, or at least not easily accessible yet.

After high school, he went overseas for college, to Ireland. He spent several years in Ireland, even finding his future wife there, the former Maeve O'Grady. Finishing his master's-level degree in 1913, he eventually had gotten fairly interested in her as a potential wife for himself, and she soon reciprocated in kind, allowing him to begin courting her just before the start of World War I. By the end of the war, they were married and settled in Oklahoma. Nearly thirty years and a dozen children later, with two sets of triplets and a set of twins included, they now live primarily with four of their children in El Paso during the season, and in Colorado during the offseason.

Steve first met Ben Winkler when Ben was still in high school near Austin. They eventually became friends, and then business partners later on. They have known each other for many years. And their families are quite close to each other, but still not linked together by permanent legal connections of any kind, if they ever will be someday.

When World War II finally ended, and the Texas Border Patrol franchise was granted to Ben, there was only one name on Ben's list for the position of chief Scouting Director with the Border Patrol organization. That name was Steve Harrison, even though Jeremy Weger and others thought others might be better choices than Steve for that position at that time.

He hopes to help the Border Patrol become the best team in the ABRS, at least, before he ultimately retires. It may take some doing, of course, but he still hopes to do so somehow, in any case.

In his spare time, he's been known to paint, work in his workshop, or read a lot whenever he can, especially about theology-related matters or various classic novels, for example. He's rather well-read, as well, and often very conversant about a wide variety of topics. He is not the kind of man who speaks loudly very often, but more of a quiet peaceful man in his manner of speaking and all.

Picture(s) and certain other information will be shared later as possible and all, I'm sure. The next personnel profile most likely to be shared will be that of Elijah Saddler, the Border Patrol's chief Trainer, as soon as possible, I think. Team uniforms are at the bottom of this post. Thank you for your time and all, everyone. CD out.
