Time to introduce you to Elijah Saddler, the current chief trainer for the Texas Border Patrol. This profile should be of about average length, more or less, in comparison with the personnel profiles already posted here, or which will be posted here, I think, by the time I'm finally done posting them all, I'm reasonably certain. Caps and organization-related screenshots for the Border Patrol will also be posted at the bottom of this post. With no further ado, then, let's start trying to get at least a little bit familiar with him here, everyone.
Elijah Saddler was born on April 7, 1890 in Oneonta, New York to Aaron Emmanuel and the former Matilda Yistai as their oldest son and second child, mere minutes after his older twin sister Serena Pamela was born. He grew up with nine younger siblings and Serena as the son of a military man and a novelist/housewife. His father served for about 25 years all over the world, while his mother basically ran the house during his service tours mainly in and around several southern states of the United States. He grew up with his siblings primarily in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, and Tennessee.
After high school, he first went to college at the University of South Dakota, hoping to become a medical professional of some sort later on. After finishing his bachelor's degree in South Dakota, he then went to the University of Texas. He eventually became a medical doctor, primarily in direct relation to sports medicine and general family practics, but with a few other medical certifications also earned as well.
It wasn't even a year after he'd moved to the El Paso area of Texas when he met his future wife, the former Kikutora Sanjo, the daughter of a mid-level Japanese diplomat, while she was on her way to visit a married sister of hers in Odessa, Texas. One thing soon led to another, and so on and so forth, before the now-33-year-old Elijah decided that the Tokyo-born Kikutora was the woman he wanted most to marry in his life. Many people that either, if not both, then knew generally advised against such an idea, some more vociferously than others, for various reasons. But both Eli and Kiku ultimately chose to be with each other in their lives for as long as they each could be, no matter what, and no matter who didn't like it at all, in them. By 1924, then, they were married and living in Abilene, Texas. They spent about twenty years living in and around there before meeting Ben Winkler right after the end of World War II, ultimately having seven children in that period fo time.
Elijah was quickly hired as the Border Patrol's chief medical trainer, after which the family moved almost immediately to El Paso's local area. They are still quite unfamiliar with the area, but seem to still be adjusting to living in it fairly well.
Picture(s) and certain other information will be shared later as possible and all, I'm sure. Team caps and organization-related screenshots are at the bottom of this post. This post concludes my introductions for the teams in the ABRS's Stronghold Division of the Sanctuary League.
The Arizona Canyoneers franchise will start to be covered in the next post as needed, for your information. They're in the Sanctum Division of the Sanctuary League for the ABRS, along with the Bay Area Spiders, California Lords, Portland Buckaroos, San Diego Chefs, and the Seattle Slammers. Those other teams will be introduced in that order after the Canyoneers are introduced here, for sure. Thank you for your time and attention and all here, everyone, of course. CD out.
