This is something of an annoyance with the game. The Club Owner/President should be a Front Office position just like GM, FM, BC, PC, HC, SD, and TR... Players should be able to create a Owner Retires or Sells Team League Event or Transaction to do this. I really want this enough that OOTP 20 will be the last version I buy until they add this to a later version. It's something that should be simple, but is important to those doing Historical Replays that don't follow History to the letter. Waiting on "random" Owner events is bogus and in fact should be an On/Off setting where the Off setting lets the Player create the Event/Transaction.
