Unsurprisingly, he was first in the number of runs prevented by not making errors, with 5.
He also had a good arm - saving 8 runs with placed him 11th.
Maybe he would have made some errors if he'd gotten to more balls.
He was 48th out of 53 in range runs, at -7.8

Yeah, thanks for the breakdown...the only note on the range stat is OFs occasionally get themselves & their teams into trouble by chasing balls out of their reach and are charged with Es if they get their glove on it even if it was a play they probably had little chance of making. Hank Aaron used to comment on that as a sign of quality outfield play; though the '69 Mets proved differently in the WS in their particular case, it's often wise to stay on your feet and line up and catch only the balls you have a beat on.
