RL's Premier Player Award Ends in Tie: The Railroad League does not have one MVP but two. Vault 81's Deer Quickwalker and Fairline Hill Estate's Hose Wallcrawler finished in a dead tie, resulting in both receiving the second and last Alpha Award.
The new manager of the Vault 81 Dwellers, Jason Personhood, said he thinks Deer Quickwalker is only going to get better as he gets older.
He may only be 19, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2297 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the Railroad League Alpha Award.
His winning campaign featured a .424 batting average and a .484 on-base percentage this year. In 60 games he piled up 104 hits, 22 doubles, 2 triples, 15 home runs, 44 RBI and 49 runs scored.
He ended up tied with Hose Wallcrawler with 69 total votes and 69 first place votes. Wallcrawler finished the season with a .365 batting average and a .450 OBP. He played all 60 games, leading the RL in WAR at 4.4. He had 91 hits, 20 doubles, 4 triples, 19 home runs, 61 RBI, and 62 runs scored.

2 October 2297 - Personnel Hirings Updated
The Oberland T-51s hired Y4-25 Godlike as their GM on September 26. Godlike becomes the first synth in a personnel role in the CBO.
The Vault 81 Dwellers hired Jason Personhood as their manager on Wednesday, September 29. Personhood was recently fired just four days after being hired in County Crossing. The Dwellers are happy for the change since Personhood is a manager who preaches the long ball. If Deer Quickwalker and Erns Gold do not like his style, they will like no one's style.
