All-Star Break 2025

First off, here's at look at the standings and leaders at the break:

And here are the All-Star teams. The Rays again are well represented with the surprise being Torkelson (who won the DH vote) in over Meadows (who granted is having a bit of a down year). Wander led all AL players in votes.

Joey Gallo beat Yordan Alvarez 24-23 in the final round to win the HR Derby.

In the All-Star Game, the AL prevailed 2-1 with the difference being Wander Franco's HR in the 4th inning off former teammate Noah Syndergaard. Among the three Rays that started, Wander was 1-4, Spencer Torkelson was 0-2, Keibert Ruiz was 0-3 and Matt Manning pitched a scoreless inning allowing a hit and a strikeout. Tyler Glasnow pitched a scoreless 8th with a walk and a strikeout. Keston Hiura did not get into the game.

Next up for the Rays: 3 games in Toronto to start the "2nd half".
