We’ve had our first, post-*** move defection as our injured reliever, Austin Adams, has informed the team that he will be taking an indefinite leave of absence to tend to “personal issues”. While Adams didn’t elaborate on what exactly the issues were, the rumor around the clubhouse is that he didn’t want to play in Japan – something to the effect of, “I didn’t work so hard to make the big leagues only to play in a second-rate international league”.
