I wanted to rush through the first week to see how things looked in the data available to me. I may go back and edit in scores of all games. Anyway, starting now, I am going to include scoreboards with all scores so that I can see what teams are doing each day. It is convenient now that I do not need to go to four different pages to see it.

12 April 2298 - Turnpike Furloughed
Boston Common Lead Bellies (University Point) rookie 3B Spratt Turnpike admitted to coaches that he lost his focus after being drafted and had not been doing the work coaches requested for him to see the playing field.
Today, Lead Bellies manager Puddin Greenwall announced that Turnpike would be sitting out the 2298 season.
"We asked certain things of all our players before the season began," Greenwall said without giving the specifics of those "things." "Mr. Turnpike decided that he did not have time for working on baseball but for whatever he decided was more important.
"I spoke with [GM] Nate [Fumble] and Woody [Lumpkin, manager of University Point] and they agreed we would send Mr. Turnpike home to see how he comes back in 2299. He won't be with the team at all in the 2298 calendar year."
13 April 2298 - Concord Draws Blanks Against Dude
Finch Farm Four Leafs fans were pleased to see so many goose eggs up on the scoreboard as Josh Dude blanked the Concord Radstags, 7-0 at Finch Family Park today. Dude stopped them on 3 hits while walking 3 and striking out 10.
"Once he gets in a groove, he can be dynamite," Four Leafs skipper Wiley Boat said. "He was on top of his game in this one."
13 April 2298 - Big Day with Bat: Schoolboy 5-for-6
Jeremy Schoolboy exploded for a barrage of base hits today at Coolest Field in Town.
The Atom left fielder had a field day in the 16-6 triumph over the FHE Yao Guai, finishing 5-for-6.
"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."
Schoolboy must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Jeremy Schoolboy hit a two-run home run off Sage Monticello in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
In 7 games this season Schoolboy has batted at a .438 pace with 14 hits and 2 home runs.
13 April 2298 - Alone Gets 5 Hits
Travis Alone of the Cats was unstoppable in today's 16-6 victory over the FHE Yao Guai at Coolest Field in Town. He battered them for 5 hits in 6 at-bats.
"Boy, I was on the mark today," said the Atom right fielder after the game. "I could see the ball real well. It's a great feeling to do this. And besides, 5-for-6 won't hurt your batting average like 0-for-5 will."
Travis Alone singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, flied out in the 7th and hit a two-run single in the 8th.
This year Alone is batting .457 with 16 hits, 1 home run, 4 RBIs, 1 walk, .472 OBP and has scored 7 runs.
