The Shizuoka Volley & The Quiver SPECIAL 20th Anniversary Edition - September 1, 2041
Hope springs eternal. The Arrows are now 66-55, a game ahead of the Hawks for third place with two games in hand after a 14-13 August in spite of all those injuries.
Speaking of injuries, Koike's out for the season with a rotator cuff tear, and Nishi may be gone for a while as well. Seigo Kinjo moves up from the bullpen, and Koichi Yoshinaga gets a ticket from Nagano. Morioka also heads down because he may still be nursing an injury and hasn't performed too well.
BNN has given us a 67% chance of a playoff spot. We'll see if that comes true.
