On the second issue, I noticed something super weird which is that if you play ahead by hitting 'finish day' the game does not crash. It only seems to crash when you try to sim ahead multiple days by using the 'sim to' functions.

I couldn't immediately find why that might be happening, so I've asked some of the other tech guys/devs to take a look as well and hopefully we'll have something for you on that soon.

Getting back to the original issue, do you still have a save/backup of that from before the problem happened? If so, I'd recommend making sure you're on the latest patch and then simming through using that, which should hopefully keep this from happening again. Otherwise though, I'm not sure the issue is fixable from the file we have from after the problem, unfortunately.
