Izzy San Juan allowed one run over 6.2 innings and St. Louis hit three solo homers to pave the way for a 3-1 win over Louisville at Busch Stadium (1997).
The win was the fifth in a row for the River Walkers.
San Juan (5-2) allowed one run -- on a pinch-hit homer from Kevin Van
Winkle in the sixth inning -- on four hits. He struck out six and walked one.
The left-hander departed after allowing a two-out single tom Brandon Clement in the seventh.
Travis Krogman took over and got Jacob Campbell to fly out to end the inning.
Krogman followed that with a scoreless eighth.
Jake Brentz took care of the ninth for his second save.
The Walkers got their runs on solo homers from Jose Segura with two outs in the first inning, Cris Rosario leading off the bottom of the second and Jose Ramirez with two outs in the sixth.
Sluggers starting pitcher Jim Martin allowed the first two homers.
Reliever Tony Ramirez surrendered the one hit by Ramirez.
