Walkers news: May 24 -- St. Louis 7, Louisville 6

Tied 3-3, St. Louis scored once in the fourth inning and two in the fifth to go up 5-3, and the River Walkers went on to post a 7-6 win over Louisville at Busch Stadium (1997).
The Sluggers' Isiaiah Byars hit a two-run homer in the fourth to tie it at 3-3.
But the River Walkers regained the lead in the bottom half of the inning.
Sluggers starting pitcher Andres Garcia hit Jose Ramirez with a pitch to open the inning.
A walk to Cris Rosario moved Ramirez to second, before a bunt by Wilson Lara moved the runners to second and third.
Peter Ahn then scored Ramirez with a fly ball.
Jordan Groshans hit a two-run homer off Lawrene Caulfield in the bottom of the fifth, putting the Walkers up 6-3.
A two-run double from pinch-hitter DeShaun Noack in the top of the sixth, off Lara, pulled the Sluggers back to within 6-5.
But the Walkers got one of those runs back in the seventh.
Jean Carmona reached on a dropped third strike with one out.
He scored when Jared Thomas followed with a double.
Louisville sliced that lead down to a run in the eighth, as Jacob Campbell led off the inning with a homer.
Lara (3-3) worked 5.1 innings, allowing four runs on four hits. He struck out seven and walked five.
Cory Tiller got the final two outs of the sixth.
Yeison Santos worked a scoreless seventh for the Walkers.
Amador opened the eighth, and recorded the first two outs.
Jake Brentz got the final out of the eighth.
Ernesto Barbsoa set the side down in order for the ninth, earning his seventh save.
