Walkers news: May 26 -- Louisville 3, St. Louis 2

Record: 24-27, 5th, 6.5 GB Quad City
Louisville scored three runs off St. Louis ace Angel Tiburcio in the top of the eighth inning, wiping out a 2-0 deficit, and the Sluggers went on for a 3-2 win at Busch Stadium (1997).
The win allowed Louisville to avoid a three-game sweep. It also ended a six-game win streak for the River Walkers.
Down 2-0, Jacob Campbell got things started in the eighth by drawing a lead-off walk from Tiburcio.
After a fly out, pinch-hitter Kevin Vanwinkle followed with a double to put runners at second and third.
Joakim Osuna drove in a pair with a double to tie the game.
Tiburico then issued an intentional walk to Byron Buxton before exiting.
Jose Alvarado took over, only to give up a single to Kellum Clark which put Louisville in front 3-2.
Sluggers starter Zach Fuller went six innings, allowing two runs on four hits.
Tony Ramirez (1-2) earned the win after pitching a scoreless seventh.
Manny Pescosolido pitched a silent eighth.
Elian Acosta sent the Walkers down in order in ninth for his ninth save.
