Today was the day Chili Davis officially declined his option.
I mean, we all knew it would happen, but losing him would be a big blow to the team.
Goose Gossage also missed his vesting option but we knew that as well. (Apparently he wants to run for Congress now...)
After that was made official, he announced his retirement. Mike Easler also made that official.
