Fort Hagen Silver Shroud starter Brent Hooker pitched a strong game against the Easy Town Assaultrons at Hubris Comics Park, leading the Silver Shroud to victory, 4-1. The Assaultrons, at 16-10, have lost 4 in a row.
The Silver Shroud got an important contribution from left fielder Andre Grogg, who in the bottom of the third knocked a 2-2 fastball into left-center for a 2-run double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Silver Shroud ahead, 4-0.
"I thought we played a nice game," Hooker told the Fort Hagen Bulletin. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."

Behind an impressive start by Dave Kovalenko, Warwick beat Diamond City, 2-1, in 11 innings. With the win, Warwick pushed its record to 13-13.
The Mirelurks liked what they saw from Kovalenko. The 19-year old pitcher had a commanding presence on the mound, limiting the Swatters to 1 run on 5 hits over 9 innings, and striking out 7.
Afterward, Mirelurks manager Old Man Langford was ebullient. "That was a fun game to coach," he told a group of reporters, adding, "I hope it was just as fun to watch."
